Fun with LOLs

Kale had been LOL'd. He didn't know it, because he never heard of it. And it was a very subtle thing anyway. Just a switch of perspective, really, from light to dark.

As he reentered Revan's house from the Nexus, he looked around thoughtfully. Training lightsabers. Now, where would those be? Without a care for privacy, he systematically searched the house, taking note of useful things around.

The lightsabers were found, eventually. Flipping them around (off obviously) he made his way down to the basement. He flopped down on the bed and picked through the data pads around as he studied the star map.

The route to the Sith Temple didn't look too difficult. Especially if he found the right portal in the Nexus. As for a ship, he could always steal Tobias'. Shouldn't be too hard to pilot.

Though, he's going to wait for Tobias first and have some fun.

And Tobias... isn't there. In fact, he's on top of the ship now, thanks to a well-placed Force jump. He gives Kale a hard shove with the Force. "Now that's not something you need to be doing."

As Kale has been sitting the entire time, he completely loses his balance and goes tumbling off the ship with a yelp.

He follows, taking it slowly. "Now then. You know and are probably quite aware that Revan and I both walked the Dark path. And you've seen what it's done to us."

He slowly clambers off of the ship to stand over Kale, putting an authoritative tone into his voice. "He's an amnesiac, hiding in the Nexus until he's sure the Republic won't just slag him on sight; I'm a crippled, Force-draining weapon of galactic destruction. And you honestly think your fate would be any better?"

Kale just glowers at him.

"Need a few more examples? Because I have several."

"No. I don't," he says flatly.

"Not like you're hearing me anyway." Still, he's going to offer Kale a hand up anyway.

Kale does not take the hand up, but instead gets up on his own. "All right. So, we're in a standoff."

"More or less, yeah."

He crosses his arms and rocks back on his heels. His eyes dart back and forth as if he's contemplating another escape attempt.

He shakes a finger at Kale. "Don't even think about it. I may have a bum leg but I'm still damn quick."

"I noticed," he says dryly.

"Good." Means it's less likely he'll have to chase him.

Oh Kale might run. But it's unlikely. He shrugs again, apparently in defeat.

"Do you at least understand why I'm so concerned?"

Kale nods, watching him expectantly, but not saying anything.

Tobias backs up a couple paces. "We can go back to the house, or you can try another escape attempt. It's up to you."

After a long thoughtful moment, he says, "We can go back to the house."

"Okay." He turns to the side a bit and motions Kale forward.

Stiffly, Kale walks forward, back towards the house, his head held high as if he were going on his own volition.

Well, he doesn't have to go back, just that Tobias is likely to be cross if forced to chase him. He follows after him.

He's not in the mood to get chased all over the Nexus. He'll go quietly.

Once inside the house he grabs a beer, opens it up and sits at the table, feet upon it.

He's very glad about that.

He hops onto one of the counters with a glass of orange juice.

He drinks in silence for a moment before glancing back at his master. "Am I under house arrest then?"

He shakes his head, sipping his juice. "No. Force forbid I try to chain someone. It'd just make you angrier anyway."
