Fun with LOLs

Kale had been LOL'd. He didn't know it, because he never heard of it. And it was a very subtle thing anyway. Just a switch of perspective, really, from light to dark.

As he reentered Revan's house from the Nexus, he looked around thoughtfully. Training lightsabers. Now, where would those be? Without a care for privacy, he systematically searched the house, taking note of useful things around.

The lightsabers were found, eventually. Flipping them around (off obviously) he made his way down to the basement. He flopped down on the bed and picked through the data pads around as he studied the star map.

The route to the Sith Temple didn't look too difficult. Especially if he found the right portal in the Nexus. As for a ship, he could always steal Tobias'. Shouldn't be too hard to pilot.

Though, he's going to wait for Tobias first and have some fun.

He shakes a finger at Kale. "Don't even think about it. I may have a bum leg but I'm still damn quick."

"I noticed," he says dryly.

"Good." Means it's less likely he'll have to chase him.

Oh Kale might run. But it's unlikely. He shrugs again, apparently in defeat.

"Do you at least understand why I'm so concerned?"

Kale nods, watching him expectantly, but not saying anything.

Tobias backs up a couple paces. "We can go back to the house, or you can try another escape attempt. It's up to you."

After a long thoughtful moment, he says, "We can go back to the house."

"Okay." He turns to the side a bit and motions Kale forward.

Stiffly, Kale walks forward, back towards the house, his head held high as if he were going on his own volition.

Well, he doesn't have to go back, just that Tobias is likely to be cross if forced to chase him. He follows after him.

He's not in the mood to get chased all over the Nexus. He'll go quietly.

Once inside the house he grabs a beer, opens it up and sits at the table, feet upon it.

He's very glad about that.

He hops onto one of the counters with a glass of orange juice.

He drinks in silence for a moment before glancing back at his master. "Am I under house arrest then?"

He shakes his head, sipping his juice. "No. Force forbid I try to chain someone. It'd just make you angrier anyway."

There's a smirk there. "So, what's preventing me from running off again?"

He shrugs. "Nothing, except that I'd be very cross about trying to track you down again, and I can be very unkind when I'm cross."

His eyes narrow as if he were trying to take the measure of the man. He then starts to poke at their force bond as if trying to see how strong it was.

It's obviously only gotten stronger since it was established, and doesn't appear to be diminishing at all. "Master Kai-Ell told me that bonds usually weaken and break when one of the people in it goes to the Dark Side."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kale asks sourly.

"That the ones I form are unnatural or it wouldn't still be in effect." Tobias gives the bond a sharp mental tug to demonstrate.

He starts, almost falling out of his chair and gives Tobias a sort of wild eyed look.

Tobias nods shortly. "I had that same look when Kreia did the same thing to me."

He swallows nervously and straightens up, watching him.

He's just sitting and swinging his good leg like a little kid. "Don't look so horrified. I don't normally do that because I hated how it felt when she did it. At least you can be assured I won't be losing a hand or something."
