The twins lead Chuck to what appears to be a degrading military compound. Except the canons on the walls appear to be brand new. At least the door is open and yes, there are red heads walking in and out. A few of the people were small children, the oldest about ten, playing under the watchful eye of an older man. They don't appear to be threatening at all. Though a few of them do carry weapons, blasters.

"Welcome to what has been nick named Delvar Keep," Kale said with slight bow.

"True," Kale said and then gestured to Trever. "Hit him again."

"Yessir!" And grinning, Trever took another swing at him.

"Hey!" Chuck exclaimed as he dashed back to avoid Trever.

He stood there blinking for a moment. "Well thus far we've proved what I thought...I have running away down pat..."

"We should back you up against a wall."

"Or have you try and avoid Annalia..." The twins look thoughtful.

"This won't involve bonking my head into it repeatedly does it?"

"Not if you block or dodge correctly," Kale said, before glancing over at Trever. "I think it would be kinder to do that then Annalia."

"Who or what is Annalia anyway?"

"She's our four year old cousin."

"We gave her a toy lightsaber,"

"And she's been going around whacking people with it." The twins grin.

"I think I could talk a kid out of hitting me. I'm pretty good with kids actually. But I don't see how avoiding a kid would really help me for self defense lessons."

They grin. "Perhaps you're right," Trever says. "So, take a few steps backwards so that you're closer to the wall. I promise not to bash your head into it."

Chuck backs towards the wall. "All right. So...what do I need to do now?"

"Same thing as before, but now you'll have less room to maneuver, so you'll have to try and dodge," Kale explained.

Trever held up his fingers, counting down, "One, two, three." And then he swung at Chuck.

Chuck ducked, gasping a bit as he did so.

"One, two, three." And he swung again.

"Gah!" Chuck exclaimed, as he ducked again.

Kale gave out some quick pointers as Trever counted down again.

"Apparently the lesson isn't over," Chuck commented waiting to duck yet again.

Trever swung.

"We want to make sure you've got it," Kale said as his brother took a hit.

Chuck nodded. "How about learning how to block some stuff next?"

The twins looked at each other and shrugged.

"Sure," Kale said. "From what it sounds like, Casey likes to grab you by the neck?"

((almost put Jayne. XD))

Chuck nodded. "That...and sometimes he'll grab my face and push me down."

ooc: *lol* I actually recently borrowed the Firefly box set and am 8 episodes in. I definitely notice similarities between Casey and Jayne character wise too. :D

"Right, okay," Kale said. "Watch me and then we'll walk you through it. This is for the choke thing. The face thing is more of a dodge."

The twins glanced at each other and Trever lunged trying to get his hands around Kale's neck, who blocked it with his arm.

"Cool. Can you teach me that?"

The twins gave him a bow and then Trever walked Chuck through the movements.

"You think you got it?"

Chuck nodded, a bit unsure. "I-I think so," he replied.

Trever grinned. "There's only one way to find out. Kale, try to grab him."

And Kale tried to grab him. Fortunately he's nowhere near as burley as Casey is, so if he does get through, it shouldn't hurt... as much.
