Kale is running back to the house. He stumbles into the doorway and goes looking for Axis and Trever, figuring that they were planning what they're going to do to retrieve their father's body. Or... finding their father.

"Axis? Trever?"

"He did say something like that..." Kale admits, tugging at those ghost gloves again. Idly he wonders if he'd get his psychometry back if that did happen.

Trever, for a moment, looks worried. So perhaps not all is lost between the two of them. "And Revan said he was more dangerous with the Force," he says softly. "At least then he couldn't eat planets."

Exactly.

"So he wants an apprentice again," Axis rumbles, looking at Kale. "And I doubt he'll stop trying to get you until he's got you."

Axis looks to Trever and nods. "He saps the Force and free will from everything he comes across, particularly Force-users." Quietly, he adds, "He went after my Dann'ika. He'll come after you, Trever. And me. And Revan. And anyone else who gets in his way."

"Um...as lovely as a thought as that might be, I'd really rather not," Kale says, suddenly wishing that he never left the farm back home. While dull, life then didn't involve being torn from the Force and having Sith Lords torture him in various ways until he goes mad and Dark Side. "Eating planets really isn't my thing." He's trying to make a joke.

Trever was actually talking about Kale being safer with his Force powers than not. But sure. "So... since Kale's not connected... he couldn't do that, right?"

Axis twitches a slight smile at Kale's attempt. E for Effort, right? But he's a little distracted, trying to think of what he's going to say to Revan.

"He's as much of an echo of Malachor V as Nihilus and the Exile, and look at what they can do." He's not going to say it, as he's going to keep the thought heavily guarded, but he's starting to think it would have been better on Kale if the severing had killed him. "Tobias isn't training him entirely because Tobias doesn't want him to suffer with the same thing that he does."

Does he have to tell Revan? Gosh. It's like he's tattle-tailing to his own son. ... I used Gosh. Shoot me.

"But he can't control him. He can't sap the Force from him. He can't take what isn't there," Trever says, sounding a bit hopeful.

"He's not training me, because I don't want him to," Kale says from his corner. Where he's taken up a stance remarkably like Trever's. Axis might note that Kale's not even wearing his lightsaber any more.

Revan would know better than anyone (except Tobias) about how to get rid of Nihilus. Besides, his son deserves to know so he's not caught off-guard.

"He can still use him, even if he can't sap the Force from him. It just means that Kale would have to suffer longer."

He does notice! He also notices the stance. "He'll try to force you. But I'm glad to hear that from you. Keep being stubborn like that." Axis gives his head a shake. "Tobias will probably try to kill him. And he'll probably want you to assist, Kale; you're one of the few people that would be able to."

Apparently getting rid of Nihilus didn't work before. As he's...here.

Sliding down to sit on the floor Kale mutters, "Great. Wonderful. Just what I need." His arms cross and he puts his head on his arms. "Is there anyway this could get any worse?"

Trever looks like he wants to go over to Kale, but is holding himself back. "No. He can't."
