Discovering Star Wars

Kale has discovered the Star Wars movies. It's amazing what you learn about while talking to people in the Nexus. In good order he found copies of the movies (original release for the last three episodes) as well as other related Star Wars media, like the Knights of the Old Republic video games and Expanded Universe books. But it was the movies he wanted to deal with first. It took him a few minutes to figure out the DVD players. There were multiple ones.

After a bit of experimentation and a quick run to the kitchen for snacks, he settled down to watch Episode one: The Phantom Menace.

About half way through, he started to laugh hysterically.

"I suppose because you and Revan hardly seem like the type. And it gives me a rather silly picture in my mind." If Tobias were to look, he would see himself and Revan dressed in white with lightsabers in cheesy superheroic poses.

"We were young - about your age - and idealistic back then, and full of half-learned Jedi wisdom." He does look, and maybe giggles a little himself. "Try in armor. That'd be closer."

"So you also thought of yourselves as shinning beacons of light?" There's a slight swat at the peaking. But armor does show up. It's very shiny.

"Well we tried to be at any rate. Hard to be a shining beacon of anything when you're wet and covered in mud." He chuckles at the swat. "There we are. That's closer."

Though the image in his head is more accurate to life - a couple of young men in dented, muddy, carbon-scored armor, with Revan in that mask and hooded cloak of his and Tobias with his hair pulled back into a short tail.

Some of the memories he stole from Tobias resurface, his eyes getting a far away look in them as he remembers how Tobias felt at the time, the armor dressed young man tired and smelly and hurt, just after a long hard battle.

He blinks and shakes his head. "No, mud does take a bit of the shine out of things."

And after all those battles all he could hear was death ringing in his ears and vibrating through his body. "We were young and brash and didn't know what we were getting into, and it broke us. All of us." He shakes his head.

"Yeah... it did," he says softly, the memories still swimming close to the surface.

He gives him a little shake. "You don't want into those memories. Trust me. It's nothing you need."

He gives a start at the shake. "I can't help it. They're there like they're mine. They are mine now."

"They might be, but they're mine too, and I know what they are and what they represent and it's nothing you need to be digging around in."

He sighs, leaning heavily against Tobias. "I don't dig... I just... remember."

"It's nothing you want to remember, either." He nuzzles his chin down on Kale's shoulder, rubbing their cheeks together. "I lived it, and nothing good came of it."

"Yeah... I ... remember." And he laughs softly. He purrs at the contact and rubs his cheek back like a cat.

"Punny." He smiles a little, reaching up to touch Kale's neck and throat. "You're very tactile."

"A good thing for a psychometric, don't you think?" His eyes are closed and he's no longer paying attention to the movie.

"I guess so." He was only vaguely paying attention in the first place. Now he's paying all of his attention to stroking Kale's neck and nibbling gently on his jawline.

Kale had been paying attention. Now it's completely shot. What Tobias is doing is far more interesting.

Not to mention that what Tobias is doing doesn't involve cheesy dialogue or hack comic relief. And he's really good at it.

This is always a plus. And Kale can tell he's really good at it, of which he's very appreciative of, as his purring indicates.

Purring is always a big plus also and one of those hands starts sneaking down the front of Kale's shirt.

Oh sneaky, sneaky hand, how he loves how it feels. He pushes into it making soft encouraging noises.

Oh, he likes encouraging noises. His mouth starts trailing down to his neck, nibbling and kissing.

He tilts his head back to expose more neck for Tobias to nibble and kiss upon, still making those soft noises.

He will certainly take advantage of that and nibble and kiss more, free hand slipping down to tease at Kale's stomach.

Kale makes happy noises, twitching almost ticklish at the stomach teasing.
