While the room Kale had initially lent from the Bar was rather bland, he'd quickly filled it up with stuff. More like parts of stuff as he currently was finding work repairing droids and other mechanical things. He was hoping to save up for a ship of his own, but for now the room suited his needs.

After all there was a bed, normally not very well slept in, but still a bed. Which is what Kale needed when he brought Atton up to his room.

He blinks. "You know, they weren't."

"Huh. Strange."

"I know. I feel ashamed of myself."

"As well you should," Atton says, leaning over to kiss Kale, briefly.

"How can I make it up to you?" He paused and then just kissed Atton again before they could go over the same thing.

Atton laughs slightly, kissing Kale back.

"S'a pretty good way of making it up to me."

"Good, because I can't think of anything else really," he says with a soft laugh. He rests his head on Atton's shoulder before reaching over and ruffling his hair.

Pause.

Thoughtfully: "You could also give me cookies."

"Fresh-made?"

Atton considers this.

Eventually: "Yes."

"Talk to Naldin, my older brother."

"That seems like a lot of effort."

"You wanted fresh cookies."

"Yeah, but. Effort."

"Considerable amount of effort," Kale agrees. Especially since he doesn't want to go and visit his family.

"You could make them instead."

"I've never made cookies before."

"You could learn."

[hidden-jedi.livejournal.com]

"It doesn't seem to hard. Just putting things in a bowl." He shifts a bit. "What sort of cookies would you want?"

"Triple chocolate chip?"

"Shouldn't be too hard to find a recipe."

"Shouldn't," Atton agrees, gravely.

Kale rolls over and starts to search for his pants which holds a datapad in it. After a moment he finds it and pulls it out. Settling back he starts looking for a recipe.

"There are a lot of them."

Atton shuffles over to Kale, winding his arms round his shoulders and peering at the datapad.

"How many have chocolate?"

"I'm looking at the ones with chocolate." He shows it to Atton.
