Kale perhaps stumbles into the basement, limping a little from the fire fight and there's a rip in his jacket and a bleeding cut or two. He's not in too bad shape, but he does look beaten up some. Tobias is behind him, or more like herding him down the stairs from the Nexus. Kale feels vaguely embarrassed for some reason, like he did something wrong. Tobias certainly looks like he did something wrong.

Poking wounds in the Force makes them poke back. It reaches out to touch

It's too bad Tobias doesn't know about the Vong. That'll punch a hole in his theory.

"You know, if you really think about it, that's kinda creepy."

He lets it touch, curious.

It's a four-thousand-year-old theory, what do you expect? It can't be completely accurate.

"That's why I don't think about that too much or too hard."

It seems to poke and prod for a bit, then innocently starts to thread a thin tether in. It doesn't feel like anything, surprisingly.

"Probably a good idea."

There's a mental frown and he pokes the tether.

Well, it's hard to confirm things when you're dealing with mystical, godlike forces.

"I figured so myself."

It wraps around the poking, like an old friend back for the holidays. It isn't being particularly intrusive about it, almost asking permission.

"So... now what?"

Still curious, he lets it do what it wants.

"The lesson is over, for now."

The tether tightens its grip, forming a bond. (Then starts siphoning a little Force, not enough to be noticable.)

He opens his eyes and uncrosses his legs, leaning back on the bed. "It was... interesting."

He pokes at the bond curiously, trying to figure out what it does.

He smiles. "I'm glad you thought it was interesting."

Almost like it was prompted, the bond sends back a trickle of emotion from its end; a calm, at-ease feeling.

"Any sort of training is interesting... as long as it's not how to load a hopper on the tractor."

He does relax some then.

He chuckles, amused. "You wouldn't be learning that from me, anyway. Farming equipment isn't my thing."

"You ready to get some shut-eye now? I can talk to Revan in the morning about getting another bed down here, and about repairing your jacket."

"Yeah, sleep is good." He gets his boots off and then his shirt, dropping on them floor. There is no discovery if he wears boxers or briefs. "Night."

It's the boots, belt, and all but one of the tunics for him. Those pants are still on. He unfolds his legs and lays down on the couch. "Night."
