"Can't sleep," Kale murmurs, shaking his head. He takes a sip of coffee and tries to look more alert. He pauses for a moment trying to organize how to say what he wants to say. Sleep deprived brains don't work so well. He decides to try for a peace offering, before getting into the nasty business. "Thanks for coming. I know we haven't gotten along much, but Tobias trusts you and despite the trouble Trever and I have caused, you've still helped."
